Title
The Bullet (Vol. 60 No. 7)
Subject
Farmer, James, 1920-1999
Description
The Bullet was the student newspaper at Mary Washington College. In the article "The Election and the Elect" (page 4), the author recounts an experience talking with an elderly man outside of a polling place where the man engaged in racist slurs and stereotypes. The author was shocked by this and referred to Dr. James Farmer's comments on the state of race relations in Fredericksburg, in Virginia, and in the United States as a whole.
