Dr. Farmer is mentioned in the Letter to the Editor "Bullet Editorial Called Cynical, Narrow-Minded" (page 4), in which English professor Teresa Kennedy uses him as an example of "talkers-to-death" to make the point that repeatedly discussing a certain point is an important step towards justice.
